Wilma & Frieda (Palm Springs Location)
Their main location is in Palm Desert, but a new location recently opened in downtown. Sit on a balcony overlooking “Main Street” Palm Springs (Palm Canyon Blvd). The food is inventive. The restaurant is upstairs near Brickworks.
King’s HIghway @ The Ace hotel
For a trendy hipster hotel, this restaurant is actually very good. There is a limited menu, but it’s all very good. It’s easy to get seated there.
El Mirasol
A favorite among locals and one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. The South Palm Springs location has both a great indoor and outdoor space. The North Palm Springs location has an even better outdoor space, but a bland indoor space. Ask for sautéed vegetables instead of the rice and beans.
